By the power vested in me ....

Welcome to New York Ceremonials. My name is Sharon Domínguez and I am here to help you in some of the most important moments of your life ...

Non-denominational, Interfaith, Multi-faith, Secular, Spiritual, Traditional and Non-traditional ceremonies created for you!

When planning the most intimate day of your life, there are various factors that are always considered. What will you wear, who you will invite, where you will be. Now it is time to take that same wholehearted consideration to the person who will join you and your partner together forever as one. If you're searching for a wedding officiant in NYC, I hope you will find that I am the perfect fit for you.

My name is Sharon Domínguez and as an ordained minister in New York, I would be honored to help you create the customized ceremony of your dreams. I am a firm believer in performing a ceremony that is a direct reflection of the two people it is based upon. This day is about your love and no one else's.

Thanks to the laws of NY State, I am also thrilled to perform same-sex marriages. Based in Manhattan, I am available for weddings within the tri-state metropolitan area. I am also willing to travel, subject to availability. Far-away destinations, a possibility. I can easily conduct ceremonies in English, Spanish, and Italian.

Together, we will craft the ceremony of your dreams. As a reflection of who you are, we can incorporate your favorite poetry, music, cultural or religious wedding customs, self-written vows, your pet iguana, multiple languages, kids (yours, mine or other folk's) and humor. It can be solemn, funny, moving, romantic or all of the above. Let it be about you, your story. I am here to be a positive, stabilizing force and guide you and yours every step of the way. Let's make this heart-warming and fun. Most of all, let's use this opportunity to express love, your love. By the power vested in you ...

How I work (ideally!)

Where possible, I would prefer to meet with the couple at least once prior to the ceremony, firstly for you to see if I am the right fit for you and then, for me to get to know you and see what you are about. The more information I have, the more intimate the ceremony. Once we meet, we can always continue our dialogue via e-mail or phone.
